Dear Mme Daley,
My name is Mary Frances Richards. I was wondering if there were any collections of Mr. Sims’ “Watch Your Language” columns in print? I ask because I teach English as a second language and it is nice to have clear-cut rules. Clear rules usually mean older books that are no longer in frequent use. My preferred reference is “Plain English Handbook” by Martyn J. and Kathleen Walsh. Thank you for any information you can provide.
